Anyone that knows me knows that this is my favorite time of the year. Its the weather, the position of the sun in the sky, the subtle way that the leaves change colors in our part of the world, and especially its the Thanksgiving holiday. I simply love Thanksgiving. And its a lot more than the food and the fellowship. It is the one time a year when you just eat and visit and dont have a lot of other hub-bub or hype. Its just about being in the moment with your family, friends and other loved ones without the distractions of Christmas or other events. Its a time to catch up and reconnect. To rest and enjoy folks you havent seen in sometime. Remember those that have gone on and the happy memories of Thanksgiving's past. The smells, the tastes, the sounds and the rememberances of Thanksgivings past are what I love about this time of year. And each year that I get to experience an additional one I consider a true gift and blessing.
