saving a life

As a postscript to my Independence Day post, I did have the most amazing thing happen on the way to work that morning. I found an old gentleman decked out from head to toe in Aggie maroon. He was grasping his chest and asking where the ER was. He was having chest pains and could barely walk or breathe. It was clear he couldn't make it to the emergency department and I took him to the wound care center where the nurses got him to the ER. He was indeed having a heart attack and we saved his life. I hate to think what could have happened if I had not found him.
